The work of the Downtown District is extensive and on-going. On any given day we may be planting flowers to beautify the Downtown, repairing a park bench, cleaning the sidewalks, or hanging holiday lights and decorative banners. Or, you may find our staff developing housing initiatives for the Downtown neighborhood, planning events that bring new faces Downtown to experience the heart of our city, or working to bring new business Downtown, whether it be a unique boutique or a technologically advanced firm that employs hundreds. If it's happening Downtown, you can bet the Downtown District has a hand in it.
But we don't do it all alone! We depend on the generosity of corporations, business owners, Community organizations and individuals to sustain the Downtown District.
