Park Cedar Rapids Has Arrived!

Community leaders, downtown businesses and eager patrons were on site for the official launch of Park Cedar Rapids, the new parking system at a press conference on Monday October 10.

Progress on a variety of parking initiatives, including new communication tools for patron convenience such as prominent on street signage, a new website www.parkcedarrapids.com and the launch of the new “LUKE” multi-space parking meter pay stations were discussed at the conference, including the exciting phase approach to the new, convenient parking options.

Phase 1 of the live meters include 3rd Avenue SE and Greene Square Park. Phases 2-5 will be live within the next month and a half.
