CR Parking Announces New Amenity Program & Enhanced Security

Beginning Tuesday, July 27, Cedar Rapids Parking (CR Parking) will launch a Parking Amenity Program for monthly parkers and visitors utilizing City owned parking facilities, including all surface lots and the 3rd Avenue, 4th Avenue, Ground Transportation Center and Five Seasons Parkades.

The new program will provide services such as jump starts, tire inflation and security escorts at no cost to parking patrons. Professional services such as towing, tire changes and assistance with lockouts will also be available for a fee.

Also beginning Tuesday, July 27, CR Parking will provide full time security personnel to monitor all parking facilities from 8 a.m. to midnight, Monday through Saturday. Security personnel will patrol all parkades and surface lots, as well as the skywalk system.

Parkers in need of security assistance or amenity program services (both complimentary and professional) can call the Parking Amenity Hotline at 319-654-1998. Hours of operation for security personnel and parker assistance programs will be Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to midnight.
