Where to Park During Downtown Summer Events!
We're packing your calendar with many downtown events to enjoy. To make the patron experience a positive one, Cedar Rapids Parking has provided a list of accessible downtown parking options. Below is a list of events, coordinated with nearby parking availability:
BBQ Round Up (June 24-27): Patrons are encouraged to use the 4th Avenue Parkade.
Freedom Festival Parade (June 26): Lots 24 and 26 B, as well as the 3rd and 4th Avenue parkades will be available. The fee at the Five Seasons Parkade will be waived for all Freedom Festival events.
HBA Bike Race (June 26): Lot 24 will be handicap accessible, and 3rd, 4th Streets will offer free weekend on-street parking.
Eastern Iowa Duck Race (June 26): Patrons are encouraged to use 3rd and 4th Avenue Parkades, or nearby on-street parking.
Alliant Energy Fifth Season Race (July 4): Lots under the I-380 overpass will be available to participants and spectators, as well as nearby on-street parking.
Celebration of Freedom Fireworks (July 4): Five Season Parkade fee will be waived, along with free parking in every City Lot with the exception of Lot 20, which will be in use by a volleyball tournament.
