City to Provide Parking Assistance for St. Patrick’s Day Parade Fans

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – March 15, 2010 – The City of Cedar Rapids welcomes the St. Patrick’s Day Parade to downtown on Wednesday, March 17. To accommodate the large number of expected fans, the Parking Department will provide additional staff members at each of the parking ramps to help drivers find open parking spaces and to help control traffic.

Due to the expected large crowds, please allow extra time for locating a parking space in downtown Cedar Rapids on Wednesday. Please remember that the majority of monthly parking spaces are reserved for those with monthly parking passes.
