RIVERenaissance-A Flood Anniversary Master Calendar of Events

April 27, 2009

The Cedar Rapids Downtown District is one of the focal points of flood recovery, rebuilding, and realization that the core of our community will never be the same- intertwining the sense of loss with opportunity for what can be. Through collaboration and promotion of the anniversary from organizations and individuals throughout the community, the Downtown District announces 35 different opportunities to acknowledge the one year mark of the June 2008 floods through RIVERenaissance-A Flood Anniversary.  Each event is a means to signify our message of progress as well as continued need for the rebuild and recovery that remains.
