25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Like Altar Boyz, this is one of those relatively new shows that is nonstop, side-splitting fun, but most people don’t know that yet. It runs for 4 weeks, starting September 10. I
Here’s the kicker: September 10, opening night, is also the Season Kick-Off Gala, embracing the school/spelling bee theme, with a teacher’s lounge, principal’s office, class photos, detention, etc. In addition to all of the fun, some of the auction items available that night will be rather unique. As an example, one item will be use of the theatre to have your own movie night, and Zins will do their typical concessions that night for the winner. And that’s just one example!
Tickets for the gala are $50, which includes the show and catered food preshow and intermission. There are also $77 tickets in honor of our 77th Season. Those guaranty premium seating, come with a drink voucher, free class photo and invitation to a post-show party at Zins with the cast and a commemorative playbill from our grand reopening. Anyone that purchases these A+ tickets will also be in a drawing for 7 pairs of tickets to the rest of our theatre season.
