Celebration of Freedom Fireworks
Freedom Festival’s return to its traditional Downtown Cedar Rapids venue on July 4th will include a new location for the festival’s fireworks launch. This year’s Celebration of Freedom fireworks, sponsored by Rockwell Collins, will be launched from the grassy plaza area on May’s Island between the Veteran’s Memorial Building and the Linn County Courthouse around 9PM on Sunday July 4th.
**PATRONS PLEASE BE AWARE OF PARKING OPTIONS FOR THE FIREWORKS:
1st Street Parkade -- Will be closed with limited access to Freedom Festival Staff.
3rd Avenue Parkade -- Patrons arriving may use both 3rd & 4th street entrances; for departure use exit onto 3rd Avenue
4th Avenue Parkade -- Patrons arriving my use both 4th & 5th street entrances; for departure exit onto 5th Avenue
GTC Parkade -- Patrons arriving my use both 4th & 5th street entrances; for departure exit onto 5th Avenue
Lot 44 - For all patrons leaving the lot use 12th Avenue.
