CRDD Annual Reports

2011 Stronger Together

To compete in today's local economy, it's imperative that our economic and community development efforts are coordinated and strong. The Cedar Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce, Cedar Rapids Downtown District and Priority One have each built successful programs around cultivating economic vitality within our region. As you'll see in this first-ever combined annual report, a lot was accomplished in 2011. But amid our successes there has been a growing sense that to achieve the lofty goal of being one of the top economic growth regions in the country, these valiant but largely uncoordinated efforts would need to be stronger... and that they could be Stronger Together.

2010 Bringing Downtown to Life

When you look at what's to come in the next couple of years, it becomes apparent that we are in the midst of a transformation that will define the community for several generations...

2008 Memories, Milestones, Moving Forward

The pages of this Annual Report provide a glimpse of how the Downtown District has been in the middle of the pre-flood revitalization and the post-flood transformation. We will never forget the sad and horrific chapter of our story. But we will maintain an intense focus on the next chapters - the accomplishments that lead us to a rebuilt downtown, east and west, better than ever.
