Hard work and dedication to enhance our downtown environment.

More than likely, you've seen our maintenance coordinator, Dennis and his assistant Wayne in their bright green t-shirts and vests, working diligently to maintain and improve the streetscape in the core of downtown. Our organization's maintenance program covers a lot of ground, we are working hard to improve the aesthetics of downtown.

This year, we've planted more flowers than ever, collaborated with the City on the replacement of nearly 100 decorative light poles (to be installed soon!), and most recently, coordinated the repair/replacement of several sidewalks and decorative bricks that were damaged by the flood in 2008. These sidewalk repairs started on Monday, August 23, 2010, and are scheduled to continue through the week of September 20, 2010.
