The Alzheimer's Association is the leading global voluntary health organization dedicated to Alzheimer's research, education, support and advocacy. The Association has been invovled in every major advancement in Alzheimer's research since the 1980's.

Locally, The Alzheimer's Association is deeply invovled and focused on serving 19 counties in Eastern Iowa, with offices in Cedar Rapids and Cedar Falls. Alzheimer's disease affects an estimated 16,000 individuals in our 19-county territory, our supporters help improve the lives of the indviduals affected as well as the lives of their care providers.

Each year, the Alzheimer's Association in Eastern Iowa hosts several high-visibility events to advance our important cause, including but not limited to- the Walk to End Alzheimer's, Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Education Conference, and the Round to Remember Golf Classic.

Fundraising from events such as these, help support persons with the disease, caregivers, and family members with services such as support groups, care consultations, educaitonal opportunities, as well as our 24/7 helpline (1.800.272.3900)
